Yoga is for everybody, regardless of age, size, flexibility etc. Yoga is also so much more than just the physical postures, and in our private sessions we can create a practice that suits you.
I currently offer private 1-1 yoga sessions from my home in Havelock North, New Zealand.
I use a combination of Restorative, Yin, and slow, gentle yoga to create sessions designed for YOUR body and goals. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. This is yoga tailored specifically to you, where we work in partnership to explore the poses that feel right for you. It doesn’t matter how flexible you are, how old you are, how fit you are, or what size you are, this is pure, nurturing yoga and not the performative, pretzel yoga you may be used to seeing on Social Media.
As a new mum, it's crucial to look at healing and strengthening your core muscles and to look at alleviating common postpartum issues that can persist for many years (even decades) if not properly addressed. Together we can also explore relaxation techniques to calm your mind and mindfulness techniques to help you foster a deeper connection with your baby.
Private sessions allow you to get full support and guidance and you have the opportunity to incorporate other elements of yoga (such as meditation, chanting, breathwork, etc.) if you want to.
I like to think of 1-1 sessions as the choose-your-own-adventure ‘stories’ of yoga. You are the leading lady and get to go in the direction that calls to you - no comparing yourself to others, no competing, no feeling self-conscious, no requirement to ‘keep up’, and the option to pivot and change direction when you want to.
As a mum and yoga instructor specialising in maternal wellness, I have a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs of mothers, and how yoga can help. I’d love to share the benefits of yoga with you.

Sessions are 60 minutes long and cost $90NZD per session or $333NZD for a block of 4 sessions
P.S. I also offer private mum & baby yoga sessions - if you have a mum friend with a baby who’d like to join in too, let me know and we can arrange a shared class where you split the cost between you. Please note that you need to be 6 weeks postpartum (7 after a cesarean) and be cleared by your medical professional before attending a yoga session.
