Okay, here’s the LONGER VERSION:

Hi, I’m Jo,

I’m a fully qualified Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Baby Massage & Baby Yoga Instructor, and have further training in Maternal Mental Health, Infant Mental Health, Colic, Reflux & Infant Allergies, and hypnotherapy. I’m also a trained Life Coach and published writer.

As a mum of 3 (24, 22, & 17) I also have over 2 decades of personal parenting experience (including starting out as a single mum, and 9 years of homeschooling) to add to my professional training.

But, when my eldest was born I had never even held a baby before. I hadn’t gone to any antenatal classes (as a young, single mum they didn’t feel at all welcoming) and despite having read a couple of pregnancy & parenting books I had pretty much no clue what I was doing or what to expect. I was better prepared when my next 2 arrived (despite both being quite traumatic births in their own ways) but there was still little support for new mums out there, and although I loved being a mum it often felt exhausting and lonely.

Luckily, my personal practice of yoga, meditation & mindfulness helped me hugely to navigate the many challenges of motherhood. They helped me breathe (mostly) when things were challenging, to embrace and create moments of calm, and take care of my own wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of my children.

Have I been a perfect zen mother, hell no! Have I made mistakes, absolutely and I’m going to make plenty more! But, I know that yoga, meditation & mindfulness have made me a far better mother than I would have been without them. One that listened more than she shouted, and paused more than reacted. Over the years I went from completely clueless about motherhood to confident (mostly) in my abilities, and yoga had a huge part to play in that.

And now I get to help women just like you feel more calm, confident, and supported on this motherhood adventure (much quicker than I did) using a variety of tools and techniques to support your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Rooted in the teachings of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, I also incorporate the benefits of hypnosis, life coaching, journaling, and practical skills such as Baby Massage, to ensure a fully holistic approach during the first 1001 Days.

I look forward to supporting you and helping you become the mother you want to be.

Jo xox
